About

jThe Northwest Riggers are a group of single people that like to get together for sailing and enjoy themselves around the water.

Weekly get together every Tuesday at Ivars Salmon House for dinner at Happy Hour prices at 5 p.m.  After Memorial Day, members join in the Duck Dodge races on Lake Union.

Monthly business and potluck on the 2nd Friday of every month.

New Year’s Eve celebration we typically are on the water or tied to a dock for a potluck and ring in the new year.

Memorial Day, Labor Day and the Fourth of July (when it is close to a weekend) we plan longer 2-night and 3-night sailing trips around Puget Sound.

Summer Weekend Trips are usually planned once or twice a month from April to October.

Holiday potluck is planned during every Christmas season.

Duck Dodge Races are held every Tuesday during the summer and after Ivars meeting members head out from there to race.

We sponsor the Goose Bump Races that are held every Sunday during January and February with each year a bigger turnout so bring your longjohns!

Members enjoy chartered sailing trips to the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Mexico.  Many members go to the San Juan Islands every year.
